DUO Miliutsina / Lentas

Mariya Miliutsina, born in Witebsk (Belarus), has been  invited as soloist and chamber musician at festivals such as Alte Musik Festival Knechtsteden, Festiwal Muzyki Klasycznej w Solcu nad. Wisłą and 'Moscow picks up the friends' by Vladimir Spivakov among others, and has performed in concert halls such as the Beethoven Haus Bonn, Schloß Benrath Düsseldorf or Tchaikovsky Concert Hall Moscow.

Mariya Miliutsina, an experienced chamber musician, is held in high esteem far beyond the Cologne area is held in high esteem. In the meantime she is transverse flutist with historically informed performance orchestras such as the Kölner Akademie, Harmonie Universelle, Baroque Orchestra Mainz, Collegium Cartusianum, Main-Barock-Orchester Frankfurt, Rheinische Kantorei.
She has performed under the direction of conductors such as Peter Neumann, Hermann Max, Ralf Otto a.o.

Since 2019 she plays regularly with with guitarist Koki Fujimoto (romantic guitar). The first CD from the duo with works of Giuliani, Sor, Molino and Pettoletti to be released in 2023 by Da Vinci Classic.

Natalia Lentas was born in Zlotorya in Lower Silesia. After studying piano in Wroclaw (Dr. Michal Szczepanski) and Cologne (Prof. Jacob Leuschner), she continued her musical education in early music and graduated with honors from the Konzertexamen course in historical piano with Prof. Gerald Hambitzer at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, as well as a master class with Prof. Christine Schornsheim at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. In 2022, she completed her harpsichord studies with Prof. Christian Rieger at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen.

During various masterclasses, she honed her skills under the guidance of such musical personalities as Ronald Brautigam, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Alexei Lubimov, Tobias Koch, Wolfgang Brunner and Bart van Oort.

In 2018, she was honored with the Förderpreis für Musik award of the state capital Düsseldorf. She also received numerous prizes at piano competitions and in the field of historical piano, among others: 1st Prize at the Kulturkreis Gasteig Music Prize 2017 (Munich), 1st Prize at the International Gebrüder-Graun Prize Competition, 1st Prize at the International Fritz-Neumeyer Competition in Bad Krozingen, 1st Prize at the International Geelvinck Fortepiano Concours in Amsterdam, 2nd Prize at the Steinway Förderpreis Competition in Düsseldorf and 3rd Prize at the Mozart Piano Competition Richard Laugs in Mannheim.

As a soloist and chamber musician, she has performed at music festivals and concert halls such as the Fortepiano Festival in Stuttgart, the Nikolaisaal in Potsdam, the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Konzertsaal in Frankfurt/Oder, the Cologne Early Music Festival, the Geelvinck Fortepiano Festival in Amsterdam, the Tage Alter Musik in Herne, the Ruhr Piano Festival, the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf.

Natalia Lentas can also be heard regularly at the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, where she performs on the Conrad Graf piano (1824).

From 2019-2021, she taught an accompaniment class on historical piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. In addition, she regularly teaches performance courses on historical pianos at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold.
