Last season 2022/23 Jenifer Lary made her debut at the MusikTheater an der Wien as Louise in the Austrian premiere of E. Korngold “Die stumme Serenade”. She also filled in at short notice as Lulu at the Lüneburg Theatre and sang Christel von der Post (Vogelhändler) in the Lehar Festival.
From 2020 - 2022 Jenifer Lary was an ensemble member at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg. In the 21/22 season she already shown as Giulietta (Bellini) and was internationally acclaimed as the impressive and expressive Lulu (A. Berg).
The Viennese with roots in Tyrol and Israel gained her first stage experience as a child. At the age of thirteen she was accepted at the Private University of Linz. After completing her Bachelor degree, Jenifer Lary continued her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, from which she graduated with distinction in 2017.
From 2017 to 2020, the soprano was an ensemble member of the Gerhart Hauptmann Theatre in Görlitz. In the three seasons she sang important roles in her field such as Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) Annina (Eine Nacht in Venedig), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Marzelline (Ludwig van Beethoven “Fidelio”) and Adele (Die Fledermaus). The highlight of her time in Görlitz was the virtuoso and rarely performed title role Dinorah by Giacomo Meyerbeer, with which she enjoyed great success and even attracted international attention.
Further Jenifer Lary has performed at the Vienna Volksoper, the Bregenz Festival and the Meiningen Theatre. She is also internationally as a concert and lieder singer. A highlight last season was a concert tour through South Africa and Mozambique.
